April Playlist 2019

April, where do we begin?

I guess at the end of March and beginning of April everyone had Billie Eilish on their mind and in their ears with the release of her album, ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ and it was obvious why! I already included my favourite track of the album in my March playlist but I will leave the full album linked below in case there happens to be any of you that missed it.

This was also the month my favourite musical brothers released another sizzling single with ‘Cool’, there was new Irish music from the likes of LYRA, Ryan Mack and The City and Us, and in light of Tim Bergling’s (better known as Avicii) one year anniversary, a song he had been working on prior to his tragic passing was released. It’s titled SOS and is the first single from the posthumous album, Tim, which is due to be released in June. It’s an emotional one, as to be expected, and is included in my playlist below.

… and for the pièce de résistance, Taylor Swift’s latest offering, ‘ME’ featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco which dropped April 26th! Well, I love it. It’s a fun, mood boosting pop tune, and with the curtains drawing on her Reputation era, I am more than hopeful for the next one. Bring it, girl!

This is April…

Let me know what music you have been listening to in the comments below 🙂

  1. Your playlists are always so fun. I never really knew who Billie Eilish was so I must be living under a rock but now I will check it out haha. Also, I’m LOVING “Cool” and “ME!” so much as well. So many fresh bops this month! Great post, girl – they’re one of my favorites!🤗💕
